The Brain Project by Kids is a creative arts fundraiser that supports Baycrest.
Students register online to receive a wood mini brain to decorate in the mail, as well as information about the importance of brain health. Whether its pom poms, glitter or paint, everyone is encouraged to get creative, decorate their brains using any art form and express what brain health means to them.
WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?
Dementia is a public health concern worldwide and Baycrest is working hard to defeat dementia, and help older adults Fear No AgeTM.
Funds raised through The Brain Project by Kids are donated to Baycrest, a global leader in brain health and aging. These funds support brain research, patient care, education and innovation.
Why Participate?
By participating in The Brain Project by Kids in schools, teachers and teaching assistants will have the opportunity to educate their students on the importance brain health, as well as offer students a unique, creative art-based activity.
Students will also have the chance to win fun prizes through their fundraising efforts.
