Jim Hake received his BFA at Maryland Institute College of Art, and his MFA in sculpture at Indiana University, Bloomington.
In 1996, he moved to Italy where he began his career as a professional sculptor/instructor. Before moving to Canada in 2008, his work was shown extensively throughout Europe.
His work has been exhibited at the Gardiner Museum, the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery and the Bata Shoe Museum. He is represented by Lonsdale Gallery, Y:art Gallery, USA, and Areacreativa 42, Italy.
